It's my beautiful wife's birthday tomorrow and I guess like many people she's excited but also a little bit worrried about getting older.
I previously noticed that birthdays differ from the West in that it's the responsibility of the Birthday Boy or Girl to buy their own cake/donuts/snacks, not the other way round.
Uchiel has already ordered a special celebration food for her office, a cone shaped mound of yellow rice surrounded by tofu, chicken, vegetables and seafood.
At EF we try not to miss a birthday. There's usually a cake and candles and a version of the Happy Birthday Song that, for some reason, never includes the person's name...
Don't worry about getting older, enjoy it :-)
